Mother's day is sneeking right up on us, so I thought that I better get some crafts put together for the occasion.
Mother's Day Craft #1
The first Mother's day crafts is a quote by Julie B. Beck. It is from an LDS conference talk in Oct. 2007. I just love the quote and thought it was fitting for Mother's Day.
I simply painted the entire board black and sanded the edges to get this look.
The overall size of this project is 12" x 14".

This is a quote from Abe Lincoln. What Mother would love this sitting next to her kitchen sink window.

Mother's Day Craft #3
To make this craft, I painted just the edges of my board black, then I modpodge two coordinating pieces of scrapbook paper on the board. I modpodged the main paper to fit the entire board, and then the top piece of paper I cut 1" tall then modpodged it right on top of the other main piece of paper. I sanded the edges of the board and the edges of my paper off, and then I tied a bow around the board to dress it up a bit.
The overall size of this project is 6" x 7".
